When we are not emotionally bound to any worldly thing,
we are free to choose. It is the decision made by Siddhartha
Gautama when he rose one night and left behind his family
and his life of luxury. It is the decision made by Jesus in the
Garden when he exclaimed, "not my will."
A decision is not a guess or the unquestioned adherence to
rules. It is in fact a telltale sign of liberation and the knowledge
of the Divine. Siddhartha followed. Jesus did.
It may be wisdom to call a halt before you choose. Examine
what you are after. Be sure without the worry of a reputation,
the chains of rules or conjecture. Watch for interior signs.

"Consider the fig tree and all other trees. When their buds
burst open, you see for yourselves and know summer is now
near..." in the same way, when the buds of devotion peek out,
you know for yourselves and sense the fragrance that reveals.
