Submission in the Dark

Our self desires shackle themselves in the dark along the hardened places within us. They glue themselves and wait for every circumstance to feed them. They stick around for a lifetime until eaten by the high bird that swoops down from above. Many call the high bird, God, others call it the Buddha Self and still others who call it the Eternal.

The watchful, sudden eye sees beyond the self hardships. It looks closely without anticipation, without estimations and sees what reveals itself. This work is interior.

Yield the self desires as authority, be ready to meet the Undying, yield to it. Take the lesser seat. Consent to it.
